The Construction Products business sector accounts for about 47% of Saint-Gobain's United States and Canadian sales. Products include: Steep and low slope roofing; polymer used to make PVC pipe and vinyl products; PVC pipe and foundation systems; vinyl and composite fence, decking and railing; vinyl siding, soffit and windows; fiber cement sidng, tile backerboard and underlayment; fiber glass insulation for thermal and acoustical applications; fiber glass air handling products for heating, ventilation and air conditioning applications; acoustic wall and ceiling system products; and equipment for installing insulation and fireproofing materials, gypsum wallboard; high-performance gypsum sheeting; and ceiling suspension systems.

Abrasives
Bonded abrasives products include: Abrasive sticks, stones and sharpening devices; natural whetstones; thin wheels; and vitrified and organic abrasives and griding wheels. Coated abrasives products include: Abrasive sponges; cartridge rolls; discs; fiber discs; flap wheels and discs; micro-finishing films; belts; non-woven abrasives; and rolls and sheets. Superabrasives products include diamond and CBN grinding wheels and tools, precision diamond roll dressers and dressing systems. Construction products include diamond blades and core bits.
Ceramics & Plastics
Products include: High-performance ceramics; high-performance plastics; crystals and detectors; semiconductor components and equipment; and grains and powders.

Reinforcements & Composites / Textile Soutions
Products include: Reinforcements for transportation, construction and industrial applications; building products used in residential and commercial construction; fiber glass rovings, chopped strands, woven rovings, continuous strand and chopped strand mats that reinforce plastics and other materials; and transportation products for fuel-efficient cars and trucks.

Packaging
The packaging sector represents 20% of Saint-Gobain's United States and Canada sales. Products include: glass bottles and jars for beer, liquor, wine, beverages and food products.

Flat Glass
The flat glass business sector represents about 1% of sales in the United States and Canada. Products include: glass for architectural, armored, automotive, fire-rated, industrial, nuclear, solar cell modules, transportation, safety, security and residential applications; customized windows and windsheilds; tempered, bent, and flat glass for displays; glass ceramic cooktops; and optical glass and services for radiation sheilding windows.

Building Distribution
This sector – which includes the wholesale distribution of laminate, cabinets, contertops, adhesives, hardware, tools, wood products and accessories – represents only 1% of United States and Canada sales.
